Budget Relief Opportunities
Below are ways to direct financial gifts towards budgeted items. Directing your gift to a need below provides budget relief for one year.
Career Development $650
The Mission provides career development classes for those in long term recovery programs. Some supplies needed are: pocket dictionaries, class handbooks, and job hunters networking.
Food For Vanderberg Youth Center $900
The Mission provides after school snacks for children and youth in our after school programs.
Medical Supplies $3,000
The Mission provides $3,000 worth of over-the-counter mediciation per year.
Gas Utilities $5,000
This is what the Mission pays for a years worth of gas utilities in our overnight emergency shelter.
Towels $6,000
The Mission uses 1,200 full size towels per year.
Camp Supplies $10,360
This gift amount covers cost associated with our summer camp program Some items include: car seats, craft supplies, water safety supplies, Bibles, pull-ups, flash lights, and tents.
Learning Center $11,000
The Mission has three learning centers. These centers help provide education needs, including GED preparedness, computer skills, study skills, employment search, and program classes.
22 Passenger Van $12,000
The Mission shuttles men to work study and church. We also transport youth for after school programs.
Box Truck $12,000
Our transportation department will use this to pick up and transport donations between our facilities.
Food for Camp $21,400
This gift amount covers all food costs for our summer camp program. Our summer camp program specializes in helping to break the cycle of poverty among inner city children and youths.
