Camp CUMCITO Christmas Celebration
UPDATE: 10:00 AM Saturday, December 8th
We will proceed with this event as scheduled, but expect that many people will find the roads to be too slippery to attend. Please use caution if you do decide to come.
On Saturday afternoon, December 8th, 2007, we plan to invade City Union Mission's Family Center with our Camp CUMCITO Christmas Celebration. There will be many fun activities, including a live puppet presentation and time to build a gingerbread house. Festivities will begin at noon, and our last participants need to arrive by 12:45.
This Celebration of the birth of Christ is for all past Camp Staff and Campers, AND for all potential Camp Staff and Campers for 2008! If you have been to camp in the past, you will want to come to renew relationships and reminisce with us.
- STAFF: Invite some campers OR come HELP us with the campers who will be here.
- CAMPERS: Bring your family, friends, neighbors, and relatives who have never been to camp, to meet us.
- REMEMBER: All children MUST be accompanied by an adult, so bring your parents or guardian.
If YOU have NEVER been to camp before, as STAFF or CAMPER, please come see how much fun we can have and get a feel for what Camp CUMCITO is all about!
If you can come, please call or email Peggy at the camp office and let her know. We will be happy to inlcude you. She can be reached at 816-329-1425 or Peggy@cumission.org.
