Provide Case Management for Our Shelter Guests
Many of the homeless do not have proper identification such as a state I.D., a driver’s license or a birth certificate. Others need help with legal, medical or housing issues. Our case managers help each shelter guest wade through confusing paper work and government channels to obtain required identification, and apply for social security, housing, legal aid, Medicaid, food stamps and other assistance.
Your gift of $30 provides City Union Mission shelter guests with:
- case management services
- bus passes to get to medical, legal and other appointments.
