Christmas is about the Christ, the Messiah, the Savior of the world, and we proclaim Him to every man, woman and child who comes here. We believe that the only way to truly celebrate Christmas is by having Jesus as your personal savior. Those who have accepted Christ will agree that the joy, relief, satisfaction, hope and strength that comes with forgiveness is wonderful beyond description. If you don’t know Jesus personally, receive Him today!
In addition to telling the homeless and poor about the gift we have in Jesus, we always give them small Christmas presents as well. Most of us know how good it feels to receive something we want or need as a gift. Those we help at Christmas time have far greater needs than most of us do, so they appreciate the necessities we give them - a warm sweater, new shoes, a thick coat - all the more.
Just as your own budget grows each year, so does ours. Increasing gasoline prices, utility expenses and health care costs all contribute to the ever-rising cost of conducting ministry for the Mission. Please help us reach our goal during our Celebrate Hope campaign. We are praying that we receive $3 million by Jan. 15, 2007, to help assure we will make our total budget in 2007.
I pray that you will join us in celebrating our Savior’s birth this Christmas and team up with us through your prayers, financial support and volunteer efforts to extend that love to the less fortunate.
