October12th through November 25th City Union Mission teams up with Hy-Vee, and KCTV5  to raise money to feed Kansas City's poor and homeless. Hy-Vee shoppers can pick-up $1, $3 or $5 vouchers at the registers of all 22-local Hy-Vee stores. The donations made through the purchase of the gift vouchers go to buy grocery items for use at the Mission’s shelters. This event has served to feed the homeless not only during the holidays, but all year long!
