“I drove a truck for 11 years. I started using drugs to stay awake. I became addicted and ended up on a binge - sold everything I owned. The first time going into the Mission a  gentleman by the name of Mike caught me in the staircase. He talked to me about Jesus and Him dying for my sins.  I had so much shame and guilt. Mike showed me that God was a forgiving God. The Mission has done so much for me all the way from a bar of soap to water…if you’ve ever gone without bathing or eating...”
