City Union Mission Interviewing for School Supplies
Help City Union Mission inform needy families that school supplies are available with qualifying interviews
August 03, 2004

(KANSAS CITY, MO)  City Union Mission would appreciate your help getting the word out to area families that they need to come in for school supply interviews before it is too late.

Each year, City Union Mission provides 2,000 homeless or poor children with the school items they need. To receive school supplies low-income families must be interviewed to qualify, but currently the number of families coming in low. This could be due to many Jackson County, MO schools starting late this year causing parents to not think about getting their children ready to go back to school at this time. City Union Mission wants to ensure that each child is equipped with the school supplies needed for a good education.
