 (Kansas City, MO) City Mission World Association Conference will be held this year in Kansas City, celebrating 180 years of the City Mission Movement worldwide.
City Rescue Missions around the world come together triennially to gain encouragement and training from each other as we reach out to the impoverished people of this planet. Three hundred delegates are expected to arrive in Kansas City for the 6th Triennial Conference Oct. 14th through the 18th. This is a time of refreshment, challenge, network and support for Executive Directors and Staff of Missions doing the work of Rescue in the name of Jesus.
City Union Mission is assisting the North American Association of Gospel Rescue Missions to receive Missions workers from England, the Czech Republic, Zambia, Australia, Germany, India, Kenya, United States, Canada, Switzerland, Pakistan, Philippines, Indonesia, Africa, Bogotá, Jamaica, and more, for a week of inspiration and training.
We invite you to join us in this opportunity, to get to know those in Christian ministry around the globe. Your life will not be the same after these encounters.
Some third world workers will arrive with no extra funds for any extra meals, sightseeing, or basic comforts. They come because they have the chance to intermingle with Christians caring for the poor. This is our opportunity to be a blessing to God’s crew.
