Royals Charities Coat Drive 2006
August 17, 2006

WHAT:
The Royals Charities Coat Drive 2006 is conducted with the participation of Royals wives and community volunteers. We invite Royals fans to donate new or gently-worn winter coats to help needy Kansas Citians stay warm.

BENEFITS:
City Union Mission
Johnson County Christmas Bureau

WHEN:
Friday, September 1, 2006
Prior to the White Sox vs. Royals 7:10 P.M. Game
TIME:
5 - 7 P.M.
WHERE:
Kauffman Stadium Gates A & B

WHY:
Winter is coming ... and there are too many people out there without a warm coat. The Royals Charities Coat Drive will protect needy people in our area from the cold, through the simple act of making unused coats available to them.

All sizes for adults (men’s & women’s) boys, girls, toddlers, infants, etc., are encouraged. New or gently-worn coats (clean and in good condition) will be accepted.

Fans can receive two (2) autographed photos of Royals players for each coat donated, while supplies last.

For further information, please contact director of Royals Charities, Betty Kaegel at (816) 504-4308.
