This summer sisters, Madelyn and Melissa Kemp, had an idea of how they could be a part of City Union Mission’s Capital Campaign. They decided to have a lemonade stand while their Grandmother was having a garage sale.
They put up a sign that explained to people that the money they earned would go to City Union Mission. Then they went home and emptied out their piggy banks. Matching funds were received from their mother and grandmother.
Mark Zaring, their Uncle, is a Church Ambassador for the Mission with Bonner Springs Baptist Church. He was so proud of the girls saying, "This was totally on their own, no prompting from anybody. I love it that they have a heart for the Mission."
It doesn’t matter how old you are. God uses everybody. All you have to be is willing.
