Getting Involved: The Primetimers in Action!

Throughout the year, City Union Mission appreciates all the wonderful and remarkable donations that are made by our over 22,000 donors.  We rely upon donors, who make it a practice to keep engaged and involved.  One such group is the Primetimers, a Sunday school class at Colonial Presbyterian Church.  They provide for our most “urgent needs” on a quarterly basis.  It’s really simple.  We keep a “current needs” list, which contains the items that the Mission is in special need of at that particular time.  One of those particular needs was toilet paper.  The Mission goes through close to 4,000 rolls of toilet paper each month!  Together the Primetimers collected and brought in:

· 382 rolls of toilet paper
· 77 cans of tuna
· 74 jars of peanut butter
· 10 large boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats breakfast cereal
· 8 bags of pancake mix
