City Union Mission presented Teddy Bitner with the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions Rescuer Award (AGRM) for Outstanding Volunteerism. “This award recognizes supporters and volunteers for their loyalty and dedication to the work of the local RESCUE ministry,” says Sharon Bednarczyk, Volunteer Administrator.

“As Cycle Disciples’ President, Teddy tirelessly led the annual “Bikers With A Mission Run For The Homeless", a benefit motorcycle ride. His responsibilities included leading the monthly planning meetings, motivating the team, making sure event expenses were raised, forming relationships with sponsors who offered gifts in kind, overseeing the Bikers With A Mission (BWAM) website, and generating interest in the biking community by attending club meetings and bike shows.”
