Lee Berns, Director of Men’s Ministries with City Union Mission, was given permission to set up a display table featuring the cards in the foyer of his church, Fellowship Baptist in Olathe.

It was really a very simple thing to do. I just put the cards out so people could see their high quality, along with the price list. Using a clip-board with a sign-up sheet to order the cards has worked well here.

I don’t know if this approach would work in every church. People tend to know what works best in their own situation. We also put the information about the cards in our Sunday bulletin.

Members of the congregation are purchasing the cards because they like them so much, and they like the added benefit of helping us reach out to the poor and homeless in Kansas City.  Honestly these cards are beautiful. I think they shine!
