Help Supply Kids with Tools They Need to Succeed!
June 18, 2007

City Union Mission’s annual School Supply distribution event is Tuesday, August 21, 2007 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the City Union Mission Family Center, 1310 Wabash, Kansas City, MO 64127.

Approximately two thousand poor or homeless children will receive new backpacks filled with school supplies.  Families have already been income-qualified and have received certificates to return on this day.

This is the 10th year that 94.9 KCMO radio's Stuff the Bus drive on behalf of City Union Mission has rallied the community to help ensure that area kids are able to start school with the tools they need to succeed.  Other partners include Kansas City Chiefs’ Tony Richardson’s Rich in Spirit Foundation and Wal-Mart.
