As the girls awoke on Friday morning, the realization began to set in that this was the last morning of cabin clean up, morning rotations, and of a full day of camp. The days preceding Friday morning came so quickly that everyone at camp was somewhat surprised when Friday arrived.
The last night of camp has traditionally been a special night for the teen girls. Aside from every other session of camp, Teen Girls’ is a week that ends with a special banquet and an awards ceremony every year.
Therefore, much of the afternoon was spent in preparation of the banquet. Hair was braided, nails were polished and dresses were donned. The joyful trip to the dining hall looked out of the ordinary as the girls paraded in their pretty dresses and shoes. It was hard to recognize some of them after a week of camp clothes.

The banquet was graciously hosted by volunteers who came to decorate and serve. After dinner, the evening was made even more special by the craft director who had prepared an art exhibit of all of the girls’ hard work from the week. Every girl's memory board was displayed.

The evening wrapped up at chapel with the choir singing songs they had learned about the love of God. Campers were awarded prizes for learning all their memory verses.
