Junior Camp Begins This Week
Camp for boys and girls ages 9-10
July 08, 2007

Each weekend the staff trains and prepares for the coming camp session. The training is usually the same, but sometimes there are deviations, both planned and unexpected. This afternoon, the cooks discovered that the food delivery for this week didn’t include pizza for this evening’s meal. Due to their flexibility, the cooks were able to adjust the schedule by an hour and everything worked out just fine.

After the evening's last training session, most of the cabin staff and a handful of the auxiliary staff came to the craft hall to learn some of the new games that were provided by the children’s ministry of Colonial Presbyterian Church. Some of these included WSSA Speed Stacking cups, Blokus, Rush Hour, Tip Over, Set, Apples to Apples, and more. Everyone seemed to have a good time and are hopeful that the week's campers will get some good use out of them.
