Sony Raises $1K+ for School Supplies
KCMO employees give back to community
August 22, 2007

This year over 2,000 poor and homeless children received a backpack filled with the tools kids need to succeed from 94.9 KCMO Stuff the Bus school supply drive, in part due to caring corporations in our community. Sony Electronics in Kansas City, MO is one of those corporations!

April Davis of Sony Electronics said:

"We were on your website and we read that you were giving away school supplies. Our employees were looking for a way to give back to the community so we decided to raise funds for this. Our employees raised a little over $1,000!"

Their generous donations were handed out to income-qualified families during City Union Mission's annual School Supply distribution day on August 21st, 2007 at the Family Center.
