Jim and Lisa Nichols received a flyer about the Presence of Love event about 4 years ago.  Ever since they have been coming to it.  “At first it was just our family,” says Jim.  “I shop all year for this, going to all the sales I can.  We keep plastic tubs for the gifts we purchase in our basement,” Lisa chimes in.  “Then we got smart and decided to invite the Sunday school class Jim teaches to participate with us.  You know we really wanted to spread the blessing around.  This is the 2nd year that we’ve brought them.”

Jim and Lisa are members of the Strasburg Baptist Church in Strasburg, MO.    “We feel the presence of the Holy Spirit whenever we’re at City Union Mission.  It means a lot to us to know that the Mission has stayed true to the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

“We were planning to come no matter what the weather would do.  We all really enjoyed the tour of the Family Center and New Life Program building, and always learn more things.  It’s hard to believe what all you do here!”
