Did you know that infants need up to 12 diapers per day and toddlers need about 8 diapers per day? In poor and low-income families a baby can spend a day or longer in one diaper leading to health risks. An adequate supply of diapers can cost a family $100 per child per month!

"Thank you, these donations of diapers are greatly appreciated," said Daniel Dickey, Family Shelter Admistrator. "We have been very low on the right size of diapers in recent days and have exhausted our quanitity of the larger sizes. This donation included several of the sizes that were in need.They will be immediately used by mom's staying at the shelter."

In the month of April Ketchum Advertising Directory organized a diaper drive and all of the tenants of the Van Eyck and Del Sarto buildings in the Renaissance office park came together to donate 983 diapers for City Union Mission's Family Shelter. They have all truly made a difference by participating in drives and partnering with City Union Mission. We could not provide the emergency help, long-term hope and opportunities for the future for men, women and children who are poor or homeless if it wasn't for all of these faithful supporters!
